Bay Island Bonsai

Accent for Bonsai?

July 12, 2009 · 2 Comments

This accent was discussed for a pine at our last club meeting. But just because we liked the accents, didn’t mean that we chose it. It was fun to look at, but we thought it would steal the show (dominate the display). Some members thought it would better if it accented as Smurf or a Teletubby (Boy, somebody needs a good talking to!)

Cute accent, but...

That accent reminds me of a small island with tall palm trees growing on it. Succulents always seem to put out the most interesting flowers. What an awesome display it would be if we found a tree that goes well with this accent!
